Christmas time is-a coming folks, and with it, school holidays, bare feet and Christmas ham sangas.
This festive season, we are offering our customers the ultimate ham sandwich with a supply of Australian sourced Christmas ham. We offer hams in a range of sizes, cuts and cures to suit the needs of diverse families on different budgets.
We've got McAuliffe's ham from the Burdekin, that are a small local family owned butcher who have been in the business for years. They've provided us with some of their succulent, easy-carve hams (all ham, no-bone), for years, in fact the same ham you'll find daily on our famous Bretzel Subs. These quality hams are slow cooked and offer that tasty ham flavour at an inexpensive price.
Then there's Nature's Choice hams, coming in two varieties; either half ham on the bone or a whole ham on the bone. Nature's Choice is produced by the Purcell family who've been running Brisbane Smallgoods Co. for three generations. We have always had great feedback about this ham; it's triple smoked over natural wood, which gives the ham a golden brown finish and a tasty balance of smokey flavour throughout the meat. This full flavour ham delivers families a delicious traditional ham-on-the-bone option.
New this year at Otto's we introduce the Black Forest Smokehouse leg ham on the bone, voted best in Sydney! These are traditionally cured and naturally wood smoked (iron bark) to an old family recipe resulting in an unmistakable delicate flavour and texture that is sure to have you back for seconds.
