The Otto’s brand is bursting at the seams, so we’re duplicating our offer and opening a second store soon. If you know Otto’s Market, you already know it’s a feast for your eyes, and your belly. Colourful displays of fresh produce stacked high, mouthwatering pastries and handcrafted loaves abound, opposite gleaming displays of continental cheeses, antipasto, the freshest of fresh meats and so much more.
But while all of this may sound a bit luxe, in a nutshell, Otto’s is a locally owned, family operated, grassroots business, that relies on its people to provide fresh food, at its best, to the local community. And that is why we are searching high and low for energetic and reliable Customer Service Assistants who understand that pairing exquisite food with perfect service is our raison d’etre.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be forward facing and always interacting with our guests. As a member of our stellar team, you will play a key role in nurturing an authentic space where people can connect and unite over incredible food experiences. You will skilfully coordinate with each of our departments to provide guests with the best possible culinary experience, while creating memories and building friendships in a tight-knit team that is like no other.
First and foremost, this is a customer-centric role. You will be the last person our guests interact with on their journey at our marketplace, and as a representative of our brand, it is up to you to engage our clientele to ensure repeat visitation through the royal treatment you provide.
You have an energy that can light up a room, and teamwork runs through your veins. You have a positive attitude, are passionate about the hospitality industry and know how to keep your cool in a fast-paced environment that is always bustling. You aren’t afraid to ask questions, seek out answers and are intuitive enough to tackle problems head on.
You are immaculately presented, courteous and friendly, consistent and organised. You share a love of all food groups – and it shows.
